Pearl of Wisdom Campaign

 Pearl of Wisdom

The Pearl of Wisdom Campaign to Prevent Cervical Cancer is a united, global effort to raise awareness of the opportunities now available to prevent cervical cancer. In the U.S., the campaign was launched in January 2009 and is led by Tamika & Friends, a national nonprofit organization focused on cervical cancer awareness. Campaign partners include more than two dozen national women’s health and advocacy organizations. The campaign also counts numerous businesses, local organizations and individuals among its supporters. All campaign partners and supporters promote the Pearl of Wisdom as the global symbol of cervical cancer prevention to increase public recognition of the campaign in the same way the pink ribbon serves the breast cancer campaign. In addition, all campaign partners and supporters distribute simple, consistent key messages about cervical cancer to ensure our collective voices effectively reach women.

 Kristen Forbes EVE Foundation

 Love, Kristen

A month after graduating from college, Kristen noticed her right ankle was starting to swell for no apparent reason. The idea for the Kristen Forbes EVE Foundation was born when Kirk and Brenda Forbes lost their 23 year old daughter Kristen Forbes after a year long battle with cervical cancer.

The Yellow Umbrella

The Yellow Umbrella

The Yellow Umbrella Organization is all about being empowered, being informed, and connecting with others. It's about working together, under the same umbrella, toward a common goal. It's about being young and being strong. It's about being a woman. It's about cervical cancer prevention.
